Our Philosophy

Totland is a unique and popular Parent-Infant/ Toddler program for children three months to three years of age—located in Owings Mills, Maryland. Select from many age -appropriate classes which are structured for a parent or caregiver to actively participate in with their child.

development through play and sense- stimulation. Creative activities and music will help your child to develop physically, cognitively, emotionally, and most importantly—he/she will have fun along the way.

Moms not only enjoy bonding with their little ones but find Totland to be a wonderful venue for meeting other moms and forming new friendships!!!

Each week, you and your child will enjoy new activities designed to stimulate exploration and curiosity. Our “Mommy and Me” classes include singing, dancing, parachute play, gym equipment to encourage crawling and walking, ball and block play, story and bubble time and so much more!!! Seasonal parties, class pictures, discussions, and surprise guest visits are just a few of the things that make Totland so special!!!

"Miss Iris and Miss Anne”-

Well known and beloved infant/toddler specialists.

Iris Hauser graduated from Towson University with a degree in speech pathology and audiology, and a minor in education. After working in speech and language therapy for several years, Iris began a career teaching infant and toddler classes at a local preschool.

These classes became very popular, and after ten years Iris joined her fellow teacher Anne Goodman, and together they developed “Totland”. “Totland” has been an extremely successful infant/toddler program for the last twelve years.

Iris also was a favorite performer at children’s birthday parties in the Baltimore area for sixteen years. She is married with one son, and resides in Baltimore County.

Anne Goodman attended the University of Maryland, College Park where she received a bachelor’s degree in special education, early childhood education and elementary education.

She was a special education teacher for eight years in the Carroll County school system in Westminster, Maryland. She taught parent/infant toddler classes in two local Baltimore area pre-schools for ten years prior to starting Totland with Iris Hauser.

For fifteen years her weekend hours have been and are currently filled up entertaining little ones ages 1- 4 with her “Parties for Toddlers” business. She and Iris started Totland twelve years ago recognizing the need for Mommy and Me/ Parent-Child classes for children ages three months- three years. She resides in Reisterstown, Maryland with her husband and two sons.
